Steph has always believed in the power of community and the impact of a helping hand at the right time.

After running a successful business for over 20 years, she founded Sauers Cares, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting other nonprofits in meaningful ways. Over five years, she saw a growing need for transportation assistance, which led to the launch of Drive and Thrive—an initiative focused on breaking down transportation barriers so people can move forward, both in life and in opportunity.

With a background in business ownership and nonprofit leadership, Steph is passionate about making the most of every dollar, connecting the right people to the right resources, and creating real solutions for real needs. She doesn’t claim to have all the answers—she’d rather meet with people, listen to their perspectives, and gather insight to create the best path forward together.

When she’s not rallying support for great causes, you’ll probably find her at a car show, serving at church, or having a great conversation with someone who has a story to share.
