What to Expect at a Drive and Thrive Car Clinic

At Drive and Thrive, we know how important reliable transportation is.

That’s why we host free car clinics to help keep vehicles running safely. If you’ve never attended one before, here’s what you can expect:

1. Sign Up for a Timeslot

To ensure we can serve everyone efficiently, drivers must register in advance for a time slot. This helps us organize our volunteers and mechanics so we can give each car the attention it needs.

2. Requirements for Participation

To participate, you’ll need:
✅ A valid driver’s license
✅ A registered and insured vehicle

3. Check-In Onsite

When you arrive at the clinic, check in with our volunteers and provide your registration card. This helps us keep track of your vehicle and ensures a smooth process.

4. Relax While We Work

After check-in, you can wait in our designated waiting area, where we often provide food and refreshments while you wait. Take a break while our team takes care of your car!

5. Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance

Our team will change your oil, top off fluids, and perform a basic inspection to identify any potential issues. A mechanic will review their findings with our team, and we will share them with you.

6. A Freshly Washed Car

Once your inspection is complete, the mechanic will drive your car over to our car wash station (if available), where volunteers will give it a quick wash before returning it to you.

7. Follow-Up on Additional Repairs

If our mechanics identify additional maintenance or repairs beyond what we provide at the clinic, we’ll contact you within a week to let you know how much of it we can assist with. Our goal is to help as many people as possible keep their cars in safe, working condition.
